Workshops are held periodically and focus on a specific African rhythm. Most workshops are open to all skill levels, though some are specifically designed for beginners or advanced players.

Jams
Jams take place several times a year and are open to everyone! Instruments are provided and no prior experience is necessary. During a jam, you're free to play your own rhythm or follow more experienced players.

In three hours, you'll learn the basics of playing the djembe and bass drums and immerse yourself in West African rhythm. We'll show you the proper technique and jump straight into drumming. You don't need your own drum — rental is included!
Each workshop focuses on one specific African rhythm. They are open to all skill levels, but primarily designed for beginners and slightly advanced players.

- To confirm your spot, a deposit of 200 CZK is required to account 9254223002/5500, or enter your voucher number in the registration form.
- 📅 The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least one week before the workshop. After that, it can only be transferred to another date.
- 🎫 If you used a voucher and don't show up without cancelling your reservation, the voucher is forfeited.

Open Jams
Join us for an open Afro jam session in Prague! Everyone is welcome regardless of their experience with African music. Drummers and dancers alike are all welcome.
It's a great opportunity to play with people from other drumming courses and experience the amazing atmosphere of group drumming and dancing. Only a limited number of instruments are available for lending, so bringing your own is encouraged.
